1. What is Stewardship?
Stewardship is the responsibility to take care of something belonging to someone else.
It is important to remember that everything we have comes from God and He has appointed us to be His stewards.
Acts 17:25-25 24
The God Who produced and formed the world and all things in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade shrines. 25 Neither is He served by human hands, as though He lacked anything, for it is He Himself Who gives life and breath and all things to all [people].
Matthew 25:14 14
For it (The Kingdom of Heaven) is like a man who was about to take a long journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his property.
2. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to be a steward.
Romans 14:12 12
And so each of us shall give an account of himself [give an answer in reference to judgment] to God.
