Psalm 27:14 KJV Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 27:14 NIV Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

Definition: wait Stay in one place and anticipate or expect something

Many times in waiting, we are forced into a place where we must be still, allowing God to work on things in us that would not have otherwise gotten worked out because we were moving around too much.

Waiting requires that we learn to exercise patience.

If you find yourself highly impatient or prone to being impatient quickly, you need work on learning how to wait.

There are many things in God's Kingdom that require waiting and we must learn to be willing to wait. We must be willing to give God time to set and put things in order and in place that would not otherwise be had we not waited on Him.

Waiting on God is worth more than what we could lose in the process of trying to things ourselves and do what God does, which cannot be duplicated.

If you are in the same place in your life waiting on God to do something or to prepare a place for you, one of two things could possibly be. Either,

It's not time for you to enter into that place, or You are not ready and need more work in one or more areas of your life

While you are waiting, you absolutely MUST learn to be patience. Waiting requires patience and if you don't have enough, it will be worked in you, but you must learn to allow it to be worked in you.

Hebrews 10:36 KJV For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:4 KJV But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
